The lessons and materials presented on this site are shared experiences from the MIRA PROJECT -- a project that focuses on the development of sequential art units for high school.  Ten years in the making, the curriculum combines traditional art lessons with emerging technology.  Still a work in progress, the units, visuals, and assessment tools are currently being revised to infuse them with the philosophy and goals of the new National Core Arts Standards in the Visual Arts.

You can see the format and overall plan for the MIRA Project in the matrix  below  (the three lessons shared in this website are highlighted).  The lessons are protected by copyright, but teachers are free to use them in their classrooms; we hope you will credit their source when you share them with others.
